TEHRAN – Several Iranian crafters promoted their works at a Muscat exhibition, which ran from March 10 to 13 at the Sahwa Park of the Omani capital.
Marquetry and tilework pieces, kilim carpets and basketries were among highlights of the Iranian stalls, CHTN reported.
A total of 49 exhibitors from 17 countries attended the 2nd International Exhibition for Crafts Industries, according to organizers. The event was characterized as “the most prominent” among craft events in terms of participating countries and the number of visitors.
Dozens of Iranian handicrafts have gained the UNESCO Seal of Excellence during the past couple of years.
